Type your business name and postcode. We’ll check what Google knows about you, and tell you straight. No card, no meeting, no sales pitch.
No card. No obligation. We don’t spam.
The same three questions every business gets judged on before anyone spends a penny with them.
Not sure what you’re even looking for? Read what small businesses actually want — and what they get sold instead.
The specific faults we found, worst first.
One email. The list, and nothing else.
You should know how a number about your business was arrived at. Here it is.
We query the Google Places API for your business name and postcode — the same index that decides what appears in Google Maps. We read what a customer would see: whether a listing exists, whether anyone has claimed it, your rating and review count, opening hours, phone number and website.
We do not scrape, we do not guess, and we do not sell what we find. Results are cached for thirty days, which is both Google’s own limit and the reason this tool is free to give away.
Eleven checks. Each one is a fact we can see on Google or on your website, not an opinion. Here is every one of them, with the points it carries.

Two checks are banded rather than pass/fail, because reviews and ratings are not yes-or-no questions. The bands are published above — you can work out your own score by hand and it will match ours.
If you have no listing at all, we may find nothing. That isn’t an error — not being findable is the finding. Businesses trading under a different name to the one you typed can also be missed, so try the name exactly as it appears on Google.
We can’t see how good you are at the job, and we don’t pretend to. A brilliant plumber can score 20. That’s precisely the problem worth fixing.
You should know who wrote the scoring and why any of it should carry weight.
Between us: over 25 years in business, more than ten industry awards, three offices at our peak, and clients ranging from one-van operations to the Fortune 100.
And one very public failure. Outstanding Branding was ours, and in October 2021 it went into voluntary liquidation. We had an offer to buy it and we turned it down, because we were certain the best was still to come. Certainty is not a forecast. That is ours to carry, it is a matter of public record, and we would rather you read it here than find it yourself.
It is also the reason this page tells you to spend nothing until you have used up the free wins. We know exactly what it feels like to be sold something you did not need.
