When one goal stops being enough
Direct works because a business with one problem should fix one problem. This tier exists for the point where that stops being true — where the tendering, the brand, the search presence and the sales follow-up are all half-done and each one is waiting on another.
Running them together is not doing more at once. It is stopping them blocking each other.
Keywords, measured before anything is written
We do not guess what people search for. The phrases that sound like a subject very often have nobody looking for them at all — we have measured terms in this very market that return zero.
So the keyword work starts with the numbers, and the content follows them. Writing first and checking afterwards is how firms end up with twelve articles nobody will ever search for.
Tendering is mostly paperwork
The bid is not lost on the price nearly as often as people think. It is lost on a missing policy, an accreditation that lapsed, insurance evidence in the wrong format, or case studies that do not answer the question asked.
That work is dull and it is worth real money, which is why it sits in this tier rather than being sold as an add-on.
It starts with a conversation
No checkout on this one either. Tell us where the business actually is and we will tell you whether this is the right tier — including if the answer is the cheaper one.
Talk to Outstanding Group →What you get
- A set of goals agreed together at the start, not a menu you pick from monthly
- Tender and bid readiness — the documents, the evidence, the things that get you disqualified before anyone reads the price
- Brand and keyword development, built on measured search volume rather than what sounds right
- Thought leadership that is actually written, not a content calendar handed to you
- Sales and marketing execution off-site, with a working session with us every month
- Reviewed every three months against what was promised
What this is not
- It is not on-site. The monthly working session is the contact time; if you need us inside the business that is Partner
- It is not an agency retainer with a report at the end of it. The goals are agreed and measured
- It is not bought from a page. It starts with a conversation about what the goals should be
Common questions
How is this different from hiring a marketing agency?
An agency sells you activity and bills you monthly for it. We start by asking whether the activity is the problem at all — quite often the website is fine and the pricing, the follow-up or the staffing is what is broken.
Is this a fractional marketing director?
In practice, close to it — strategy, direction and execution across marketing and growth without a full-time salary. The difference is that it is agreed against written goals and reviewed every three months, rather than sold as a day rate.
What does tender readiness actually involve?
The unglamorous half: policies, accreditations, insurance evidence, case studies written properly, and the standard answers that get reused. Most bids are lost on the paperwork before anybody looks at the price.
How much of my time does it take?
One working session a month, plus whatever you want to be involved in. The execution happens off-site — that is the point of the tier.
Can I move up or down a tier?
Yes, at a checkpoint, in writing. Businesses change shape and pretending otherwise just means people stay on the wrong tier quietly resenting it.
