OG WIN · Partner

The whole business. Inside the walls.

For the firm where turnover is up and profit is not, where nobody is quite sure who owns what, and where the owner is still doing everything. Everything in Growth, plus what happens inside the walls — and on-site days, with Sarah and Andy rather than somebody sent instead.

Product card for OG WIN Partner, £1,000 a month — the whole business, on-site and off-site, with Sarah and Andy.

Turnover up, profit flat

It is the most common shape at this size, and it almost never has a marketing cause. The work is coming in. The money is going somewhere between winning it and banking it.

Nobody knows who owns what, and the owner is still doing everything.

Finding where it goes means looking at the bits a consultant is not usually invited to see: how a job actually moves through the business, who picks it up, how many times it gets touched, and what happens on the days somebody is off.

Margin, not revenue

Targets get set on turnover because turnover is easy to count and it feels like winning. A firm can grow its revenue for two years and be worse off at the end of it.

So the targets here are on margin, on the win rate, on the average value of a job — the numbers that decide whether growth is worth having.

Who turns up

Sarah and Andy. Not somebody sent instead, and no account manager in between. Sarah handles business strategy, tendering and growth; Andy handles the digital side — search, sites, systems and automation.

That is also the honest limit on the tier: two people can only be in so many places, so the capacity is genuinely finite. Ask what is open.

It starts with a conversation

This tier especially. We will not quote it off a page, because at this level the honest answer might be that you need one on-site review and not a monthly arrangement at all.

Common questions

Why is this the tier that needs on-site days?

Because production flow, route planning and who-owns-what cannot be seen from a spreadsheet. The digital half works remotely. The inside-the-walls half does not.

How far will you travel?

Most of our on-site work is across the SS postcodes and the wider Essex area. Further afield is a conversation rather than a no — ask.

Is there a limit on how many of these you take?

Yes, and it is real rather than a sales line — on-site days are a finite number of days. Ask what is currently open rather than assuming.

Do you give HR and employment advice?

We help with structure, roles, handovers and process, and we will tell you plainly when something needs a solicitor rather than a consultant. We do not give legal advice.

Why should I trust you — didn’t one of your businesses fail?

Yes. Outstanding Branding went into liquidation in October 2021, and we have never hidden it. We turned down an offer for the business because we were certain the best was still to come, and we were wrong. That is the single most useful thing we bring to a client: we know precisely how a good business talks itself into a bad decision, because we did it ourselves.
